Night Vision Spy Cameras - Ultimate Security In The Night (Infrared and LED cameras)

Night vision cameras are cameras that allow video footage to be taken under night or low-light conditions. A night vision security camera can see when someone is in a certain place
and take footage of what they are doing, even when there is no light or little light available. Night vision surveillance cameras can be set up to take footage regularly. You can also find wireless night vision cameras which can be held on the person or left somewhere to film what is happening near the camera.

What is the Purpose of a Night Vision Camera?

The purpose of a night vision cameras is to allow video-taping during night-time or low-light conditions. It can also enable viewing of things that occur during the night that would not normally be able to be seen by human eyes. By using a night vision camera, people can effectively see in the dark.

How Does a Night Vision Camera Work?

A night vision camera is an electro-optical device which intensifies light and does not need to rely on another light source. They work by converting the small amount of light in the area and converting it into electrical energy. Light enters the night vision camera through an objective lens. It then strikes a photo cathode which has a high-energy charge. This energy charge accelerates across a vacuum and strikes a phosphor screen. The phosphor screen focuses the image and the eyepiece magnifies the image. In order to view the image, the person using the product looks at the screen instead of looking through the camera.

In places where there is no light to amplify, a night vision camera will need an infrared illuminator. This infrared illuminator provides a light source which is then amplified by the camera. The infrared light is not visible to the human eye and so cannot be detected by other people.

Types of Night Vision Cameras

There are a number of different types of night vision cameras available. Here are some of the night vision cameras that may be purchased:
  • Outdoor night vision surveillance camera. This camera is used to film an area and capture anything that happens in the area on footage. The film may also be viewed on a screen, so that people can see what is happening in the area, even during the dark.
  • Motion sensor cameras. These cameras will start recording when they detect motion. This eliminates the need for large periods of recording as it only records when there is something to watch.
  • Vandal proof night cameras. These cameras are specially designed to prevent being ruined by vandals. They are mainly used in camera night surveillance vision.
  • Day night color cameras. These cameras record in color during the day and then can record using night vision technology at night.
  • Infrared night cameras. These cameras have camera infrared night vision technology to allow filming even when there is no light available.
  • Mobile spy night cameras. These cameras are mobile so that they can be placed anywhere you want to film. The night vision means that you can film what people are doing in any darkened area.
