Pinhole Spy Camera - Mini Camera with Many Benefits

Modern spy pinhole cameras are a manifest of the advance on electronics. They can be as small as a cent coin and are able to record images in black and white, color or even with sound,
thanks to an internal microphone. Today, there isn’t a place that can be safe, thanks to these devices. The pinhole surveillance camera is here to stay.

What Are Pinhole Spy Cameras?

These cameras work under the same principles of a standard camera. They capture the light and convert that data into a format that can be transmitted to other appliances, so the user can watch it. And, the best thing is that they can send the signal hundreds of feet away! A pinhole spy cam can send its signal 1000 feet away with only a nine volt battery as its power source.

Why Are Pinhole Spy Cameras Virtually Impossible To Detect?

There are two main reasons. The first one is their size. Electronics have reduced so much the size of the components, that a pinhole spy camera is indistinguishable from a button or even a lens frame.

The second reason is that we don’t expect them to be so small. Although modern consumer video cameras are much smaller than their ancestors (those huge things that reporters carried around the world in the last decades), it is still hard to comprehend that something that fits within your hand, like a pinhole bullet camera, can be reduced to the size of a coin.

So, even if the camera may be noticeable by someone who knows about them, it is most probable that a typical bystander won’t find out. If that happens today, imagine what the future is reserving for wireless pinhole spy camera technology.

Types of Pinhole Spy Cameras

A pinhole spy camera can be placed almost anywhere. But there are some types of home appliances that are preferred for their installation. For example, smoke detectors. These devices are placed in the ceiling and almost no one would consider tampering with them. Especially if you consider that it is a federal crime to do it.

Motion sensors and pinhole cameras are a good combo too. Why? Because motion sensors can be placed in a perimeter in case you don’t want any trespasser inside your property. Once the motion sensor detects movement, it will immediately activate the spy camera. The camera will capture the images of what is happening around and send it to a TV, permitting the user to watch, in real time, what is happening outside without leaving his place.

Other home appliances used for spy pinhole cameras are lamps, clocks or radios. In the case of decorative stuff, you should check if your spy lamp should combines with your decoration. It doesn’t have any sense to have a Victorian style room with a red lamp, made of ceramic, inside. It may be too obvious.
